Every engineering aspirant will have a dream to pursue the course in IITs or NITs. To make this dream come true, they have to clear the JEE Advanced exam. In 2022, the JEE Main and the JEE Advanced will be conducted by a new body named JEE Apex Board (JAB). Till last year, the JEE exams were conducted by the National Testing Agency. Recently, the Ministry of Education has published this change of the exam conducting body. So students are advised to check updates on the official website regarding any change in the rules and regulations of the exam.
The registration window for the JEE Advanced exam will be open from August 7 2022, till August 11. Students can logon to the official website to complete the JEE Advanced Registration. Also, they should check whether they meet the eligibility criteria. Else the application will be rejected. Following are the documents required for registration.
- 10th grade certificate
- 12th grade or equivalent certificate
- Gazette notification if any mismatch of name
Important Dates
JEE aspirants should always keep in mind the important dates of the JEE exams. The JEE Advanced is supposed to be conducted on August 28 2022, and results will be released by September 11 , 2022. The JoSAA process may start on September 12, 2022. Students should follow the guidelines given by the official authority.
Mandatory tips to follow
There are some tips which the students should definitely follow to take their preparation to the next level. One among them is practising previous years’ question papers. This will help the candidates to be familiar with the type of questions asked for the exam. Also, this will help them to figure out their weaker areas and work more on those topics. Students are recommended to make short notes of their own so that they can use this for a quick revision before the exam. Also, students should definitely attempt mock tests so that they can be familiar with the real exam scenario. This will also help them to understand the time management skills required for the exam.
Downloading admit card
The admit card will be available from August 23 2022, till August 28 2022. Students should check whether the details given in the JEE Advanced Admit Card are correct. Since they have to produce the admit card at the exam hall, they should take a printout after downloading the admit card. Also, they are advised to keep it safe for future reference. Students are recommended to reach the exam centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the entrance exam.
