Dejah is an independent artist in Dallas, Texas. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she remains focused and consistent on her endeavors now being popular in Dallas. Being fun, adventurous, and intelligent, she works consistently on her projects day in and day out, and she speaks more on her future releases. “Well, we are constantly creating singles, but we’re getting ready to release our album. We have so many songs, so I think we’re getting ready to narrow down and tighten up our favorite songs to release in an album. We just released “She Gone Shake” 9903 ft Traap4kassh – it is a dope TikTok dance song. I also jumped on my brother’s (Ax2) song “Ready For It” and we shot a video for that one. it was cold but it was a lot of fun hanging out with Michael Shawn.” Dejah stays determined and diverse with her passions.
Her goal is to keep moving ahead and to create something meaningful with her content. Dejah remains tunnel vision and looks only ahead coming from where she did and remains faithful to her passion. “Having faith in God that my dreams will come true one day. I have been working too hard in school and in my career to just give up. So having faith that if I keep working hard that it will all pay off, keeps me inspired. I also want to give back to my family, so making them proud is my ultimate goal. Watching documentaries of other artists/public figures’ success stories is also inspiring. I want to be able to give back to the community and help others.” Dejah remains focused and positive with her future intentions.
Where are you from?
So I am a military brat. I was born in San Antonio, Texas, grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia then moved to the DFW.
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are at now?
Patience and perseverance. Going through hurdles is bearable because I knew my road would not be easy. I pray a lot and I have a great support system. Staying busy and having music to listen to also really helps me.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles have you had to overcome to get where you are at?
Rejection. You get a lot of rejection, but that’s something you have to get over. You literally have to keep working until no one can tell you no. You also have to be confident enough in yourself/your product to know that you are great even without the validation of others.
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
I’m graduating college in December with a Bachelor’s and a minor! I am really excited because I am ready to be done with school. I will be getting my bachelor’s degree in broadcast communications with a minor in theatre arts!
Who were the most influential people in your life?
I really loved Michael Jackson, Ciara, Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and so many more artists growing up, that it’s ridiculous! Those are a few artists of many that inspired me to be an artist, but I was inspired by everyone. If they were great to me, I studied them and found things to be inspired by

Dejah views herself as an ambitious artist who has become more of an inspiration and a go-getter to others because of her work ethic and determination is unique. “You have to start somewhere. We have been recording, performing, and doing music videos since we were literally kids. It’s been wild to see our growth since then, knowing we have so much further to go. Never give up and always perfect your craft. Take as many breaks as you may need, but once you find your passion, stick with it and work hard to perfect it.”Dejah keeps a promising attitude toward success.
Creativity have inspired her when it comes to establishing a decent work ethic. The fact that she was able to overcome so many difficulties was due to her confidence and belief in herself, she continues to stay devoted to her craft. Dejah went on to remark that her passion comes from somewhere and her motivation will always be a driving force in her life. Important people in her life had a significant effect on her career. “On a personal note, my family was very influential on me. My family is my everything and I love making them proud. They have poured a lot into me, and I’m very grateful, so I strive to be great for them.”
